Antalya, Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh each answer a different version of the same question: which shoreline suits your children's ages, your travel month and your departure city. The three rows below are the short form of the ledger, and the longer detail sits further down this page.
Flights from Kyiv run about 2 h 40 min. Sea temperature in May sits near 21 C. Kids club age starts at 4.
Trade-off: the quiet bays sit 60 to 90 minutes from the airport with children in the car.
Direct charters, roughly 4 h 30 min. Water reaches 25 C by April. Transfers usually stay under 30 minutes.
Trade-off: the spring wind turns the afternoon sea choppy, so plan water time before noon.
About 5 h with one connection. Reef access straight off the shore. Warmest water of the three in April.
Trade-off: a steeper shoreline and fewer shallow entry points, so younger swimmers stay supervised.
Flight times, water temperatures and transfer windows are dated in the source register. Four-line cost totals for each coast are built in the full ledger.
Antalya is the shortest flight of the three destinations and the easiest beach entry, and it charges for both with a longer airport transfer and a busier shoreline. The ledger below holds one fixed party: two adults, two children aged 6 and 10, Kyiv departure, first half of July.
| Line | What is included | Number | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| FlightKyiv to Antalya | Direct charter or scheduled service from Boryspil, mostly overnight on the outbound leg. Four seats on one booking are still common until late June. | 2 h 35 min 27,400 |
An overnight arrival turns the first day into a recovery day, not a beach day. |
| Airport transferAntalya (AYT) to Side | Private minivan with two child seats, booked with the resort or independently. | 55 to 75 min 4,500 |
Resorts in Belek and Side sit further from the airport than the Hurghada strip does. |
| Sea and beachMediterranean, Side and Lara | Sand and fine pebble over a shallow shelf, with lifeguards in the resort zones from May to October. | 26 to 28 C July |
Late July water is warm, but the midday sand is too hot for bare feet before 16:00. |
| Family fitKids clubs and pools | Clubs from age 4 at most five-star properties, plus shaded toddler pools. Ask the property for its written age bands. | Age 4+ | Supervision ratios differ by property and are not standardised. |

Egypt, Red Sea. Figures below cover a family of four, ten nights, leaving from Kyiv.
Rounded to the nearest hundred and summed at the rate on the quoted card. Meal plans follow the inclusions printed by each property, and those inclusions differ between hotels on the same strip, so compare the printed list rather than the label.
Khamsin wind pushes sand across the northern beaches in March and April, and the reef shelf at the house reef is sharp enough that younger children need water shoes.
Source: charter fare sheet and hotel rate card, checked 14 January 2026. Constraint match: two children aged 4 and 9, July school holiday, departure from Kyiv. Editable: move the trip to April and the sea cools to about 22 °C while the rate drops.
